Consultations Consultations are by appointment only in order that we can maintain minimum waiting times. Appointments can be booked at the surgery or over the telephone and we try hard to accommodate you and arrange appointments to suit.
Any emergency will be attended to immediately.
During times when the surgery is closed there is always a veterinary surgeon on duty. The duty vet can be contacted by calling the normal daytime telephone number.
Home Visits If necessary we can visit your pets at home, although this would involve added charges. Whenever possible, it is much better for you to bring your animal to the surgery for attention. We are fully equipped to deal with emergencies at the surgery but are limited as to what we can do at your home.
In an emergency, you bringing your pet direct to us can save valuable time.
Payment We try to keep client costs to a minimum and will always provide you with an estimate of cost prior to commencement of treatment. To minimise administrative costs we ask that payment be made on the day of your visit.
Pet Insurance Insuring your pets allows you to achieve the best possible care for them when the need arises.
You can insure your pets for a fraction of the cost of their weekly feeding bills. With the exception of routine or preventative treatments, such as vaccinations or worming, pet insurance will cover the costs of treatment fees, leaving only the agreed excess for you to pay.
As vets, we believe that pet insurance is very valuable. Our aim is to provide the best possible standard of care to every animal. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints of uninsured animals, this is not always possible. For this reason we believe that pet insurance makes very good sense indeed.
